✨ Since we introduced Heimu to WA almost 12 months ago, it's become one of the most talked about timbers in our range, and for good reason.
Firstly, it's thermally modified which changes the timber's cell structure rather than just protecting the surface. The result is Class 1 above-ground durability, serious resistance to swelling, shrinking and warping. It also features a striking, wavy, interlocking grain you won't find in any other species.
Secondly, you can leave Heimu to weather gracefully into a soft, sophisticated grey or add an oil finish to create a deep bold, near-black statement piece.
Either way, it holds its shape and looks and can be used for everything from decking to cladding, stairs to outdoor furniture.
