Clean lines. Calm textures. Timeless restraint.

This contemporary home balances sharp architectural form with warm, natural finishes — where crisp white volumes float above textured stone, creating depth and contrast without overpowering the streetscape. Full-height glazing softens the façade, inviting light deep into the interiors while maintaining a refined, understated presence.

A quiet statement in materiality, proportion, and light.

Carine project is now complete. A single-level home designed around open-plan living, where natural light moves freely through each connected space.
From the subtle curves in the internal walls to the pitched roofline that adds architectural presence, every element was considered to create balance and proportion. Clean lines, refined finishes and thoughtful detailing define this home. It’s calm, functional and built to last.

Construction in progress…

Where modern lines meet mindful living 🤍🏡

Inspired by Japanese architecture, this home embraces multiple courtyards that blur the line between inside and out — creating pockets of calm, light, and connection to nature. Clean geometry, layered materials, and a balanced colour palette of crisp whites, deep charcoals, natural stone, and warm timber tones bring harmony to every angle.

Inside, warm natural finishes and soft textures create a serene, grounded atmosphere — a contemporary sanctuary designed for simplicity, light, and intentional living. 🌿✨

Othello Quays residence - North Coogee.

The extensive and consistent use of stone cladding throughout the home sets a cohesive warm earthy theme that creates harmony and balance. The aim was to celebrate the outdoors and dilute the boundary between indoors and outdoors by allowing external materials to seamlessly extend through to the indoors.

Lillian Street, Cottesloe

Referencing the vernacular Queenslander in a contemporary context, this Cottesloe home represents the client’s idea of the modern coastal home.

The batten screening not only provide privacy and protection from the elements, they also tie the building together with a playful spirit. The curves and arches help soften the edges while also adding some contrast against the rigid forms.

On a site which slopes over 2.5m from front to back, the house attempts to tame the difficult steep and narrow terrain to provide seemingly uninterrupted and expansive spaces that suit the client’s lifestyle. Split levels were introduced in a creative and meaningful way to minimise separation between spaces and enhance the ascending journey through the steep site.
