How Does Installation Work?
Our Home Courts Australia sports flooring system is designed for simple DIY installation — no specialist installer is required.
The process is straightforward:
1. Prepare the surface
The court should be installed over a hard, flat and level surface, with concrete being the recommended base. Asphalt and other suitable hard surfaces can also work.
2. Lay out the court
Your court is manufactured according to the approved design, including your selected colours, line markings and logo (if applicable).
3. Interlock the tiles
Each sports tile simply clips into the next tile, allowing the court to be assembled section by section. There is no need to glue or individually screw every tile into the concrete.
4. Install the edge ramps
Edge/ramp pieces are fitted around the outside perimeter, creating a clean and smooth transition from the surrounding surface onto the court.
5. Ready to play
Once the tiles and edges are connected, the court is ready for use. The open-grid tile system allows water to drain through the surface rather than sitting on top.
Before delivery: We provide installation instructions, and because the system is modular, the court can also be lifted or individual tiles replaced if ever required.
Planning a new concrete slab? Finalise your court dimensions with us before pouring the slab so we can provide the correct finished dimensions for your concreter.
