In the time Clearspace has been running, we've installed across Beeliar, Canning Vale, Madeley, Tapping, Port Kennedy, Harrisdale, Redcliffe, and Alkimos.

Nobody contacts us because they're passionate about attic platforms.

They contact us because the garage is driving them mad. Because they want the spare room back. Because the laundry is unusable and they've run out of workarounds.

The storage is the mechanism. The actual outcome is a home that feels more like itself again.

"Wooden or aluminium ladder — which should I choose?"
Wooden ladders give a cleaner, more premium feel and tend to suit homes where the hatch is in a more visible spot. Aluminium is solid, practical, and slightly lighter. Both are properly installed, it's personal preference.

"What's the turnaround like, how far in advance do I need to book?"
It varies by season. July is a quieter period so we can often move faster than usual. Spring books out earlier.

"What happens if my roof has unexpected complications on install day?"
We'll communicate it clearly and talk through options before doing anything you haven't agreed to.

Before you even reach out, here's a quick self-check:

1. Can you see a manhole or access panel in your ceiling?
If yes, there's likely a roof cavity worth exploring.

2. What's the pitch of your roof?
Steeper pitch = more height = more usable space. Low-set homes can still work, just with a smaller footprint.

3. Does your home have a tiled or Colorbond roof?
Both can work. The frame type underneath matters more than the roof cover.

4. What's already in your roof cavity?
Insulation is fine — we work around it. Major HVAC ducting layouts may affect platform size.

Let's think about it properly.

The alternative most people are already paying for: a rented storage unit. Ongoing. Every month. Forever.

Book your framing and flooring package. On install day, once the platform is laid out and you can see how it sits in your roof space — you can decide if you want to extend.

Extra flooring is priced per square metre and confirmed on the day. You're not locked into a number you guessed at from the ground.

The goal is a finished space that actually works. Not one you compromised on before you could even see it.
