📣 Late Start Thursday‼️
Just as I pulled into my driveway I saw a wheel on my lawn which turned out to be from my trailer.
Tip of axle snapped 😩
But it’s been hauled down to Loadstar Trailers for repair in the morning.
💡 would have been worse if the wheel dislodged in transit down the highway.

Holla!!
Unlike bear, I have to venture out of the cave during Perth’s blizzard season.
We’re ⅔ of the way through winter and it’s officially clover season.
And one of the menaces of the clover season is Burr Medic as pictured.
If you spot an outburst they are not too difficult to remove by hand and well worth your time before they drop their prickles which become the seeds for the following year.
When I see a large bloom I’ll often pull them out of your lawn because I can’t help myself 😊

Since I began a lawn mowing business “Pro Lawn Care” nearly 20 years ago, I told myself I would never retire. It seems I’m not the Lone Ranger. One of the main reasons is, it keeps me fit and active whilst providing an income. I’m out n about and have met some great people/clients. Like anything, it has its ups n downs and there have been times when i thought it may have to end due to a herniated spinal disc on 2 occasions, the latest of which still prevails after 12 months, although is much improved in the last 3 months.
So unlike Geoff in the story, I don’t plan to come out of retirement coz I don’t plan to enter it.
And what a magnificent autumn day we have here in Perth! 🌞
