Our foster puppy, Nugget, met the herd recently. After recently watching Muster Dogs, I think it's safe to say he's not exactly a natural 😅

Nugget is currently in foster care through CARMAR and will be available for adoption soon. His sister Winnie is now available and ready to find her new home.

Bulrush can play an important role in stabilising soil and protecting waterways. But when it becomes invasive, it can restrict water flow and create management issues.

It’s not always easy to access with machinery due to its proximity to water. No problem for the herd

Reduce your fuel loads now 🔥

Even though temperatures have eased a bit lately, fire risk is still very real and will continue while conditions stay dry.

This summer has been a big wake-up call for a lot of us. Taking action now helps protect your property, your family, and your livestock.

Have a look around your place and see what you can do to reduce fuel loads — long grass, weeds, blackberries, fence lines and around sheds. Whether it’s goats, a slasher (weather permitting), or a bit of manual work, every bit helps.
