Something I had been meaning to post for a while now. Sure, it's winter and the grass isn't growing as quickly. Now, here's my take on this. I've noticed a lot of other contractors are parked up or home early. Now, some have been operating longer than me, yet they still need to advertise or use gimmicks to attract customers. Surely, they must have a regular client base by now, or one has to wonder why not. And there's the jack-of-all-trades, master of none. I still have customers from the day I started, and I haven't advertised for as long as I can remember. My point is, if these blokes are good at their job or as good as they say, they should be flat out. It makes you wonder what they are doing. I still hear that I cannot be as busy as I say. Well, just turn up and do your job at a realistic price, and the rest will take care of itself. Customer service is the key to keeping your clients. Now, don't start me on the side-gig operators. I have lost count of how many new clients have rung me and said my mower guy isn't turning up. Well, my honest opinion is that they are only interested in the money in their pocket, not their clients. You may ask, where is this coming from? Well, just sick of the bu****it, and honestly, we don't need this in our industry. Only makes it harder for the other professionals in the business. 🤔💪🏼👍

It's been a while since I last did hedges. And just so you know, I don't do hedging; it's been 3 years since I last hedged a yard. The only reason I did this one is that I've been mowing these units for ages. I hedged at the owner's request. I'm too busy mowing yards.
