Foraging for food. Bringing back hunter gatherer principals. I love being able to explore and find a bounty. Yes it takes a little more effort than reaching within the supermarket self but it’s more rewarding, being with nature, absorbing what’s going on around you. Wild food the way it should be. Preserving food is also important in locking in the nutrients and creating less waste. 90% of these blackberries I froze. I have 6 months of morning smoothies with this lot.
