A big weekend for 25 of our NUSwimmers as they joined over 500 competitors at the 2025 Swimming NSW Country Regionals, Taree.

The two day meet presented some very challenging weather conditions, but the team continued to persevere in the wind and rain showing great determination and positivity throughout. We even managed to get some sun today which was a welcome change! ☀️

Congratulations to all our swimmers on their outstanding efforts over the weekend. The team came away with 17 Gold Medals🥇, 9 Silver Medals🥈and 13 Bronze Medals🥉, countless PB’s, and even some Country and State Qualifying Times despite the less-than-ideal weather 🤩 Amazing!!

A big thank you to Coach Tim who provided guidance, reassurance and support to our team throughout the entire weekend. We are so grateful 🙏🏻

Appreciation and thanks also goes to our parent volunteers and timekeepers who assisted throughout the meet 👏🏻

What started as an old shed is now looking very smart with a seamless appearance. We installed a shadow line around the skirting and a neat square set Finnish around all windows and doors. We have put a lot of work into this job and can’t wait to see the end product. 👌
