T3 Collingwood achieved a major project milestone last week with the first mass timber (glulam columns and beams) installed on site.
The project takes its name from Hines’ T3 strategy, a roadmap for design that responds to growing cultural demand for local authenticity, sustainability, and urban and social connectivity. The three Ts are: timber, transit, technology. T3 Collingwood will be Hines’ first project delivered under the strategy in Australia, following great success in the US, where T3 tenants include Amazon and Facebook. We’re really excited to be part of project that pioneers such important new thinking in innovation and sustainable design.
