Some backyards get a new pool. This one got a whole new way to spend a weekend.

The old kidney-shaped pool and rock grotto came out completely. In its place, a 10 metre custom concrete pool with a full-length tanning shelf, a huge spa running eight jets, and a kids’ grotto built into the corner with a proper cave and a starlight ceiling above it.

Behind that sits the piece that ties it together, a raised platform floating over the pool, a 2.4 metre water blade cascading off the front, and a linear gas fireplace built straight into the wall. Outdoor TV and Sonos wired in so the space works just as well at 8pm as it does at midday.

Crazy pave wraps the entire perimeter and flows through to natural edge stone coping, with a custom waterline tile and full glass pebble interior below. Gas and electric heating for quick heat-up all year, and tropical planting against synthetic turf that stays sharp with almost nothing asked of it.

The old timber cabin wasn’t knocked down either, completely renovated into a Hamptons-inspired pool house that now looks out over the whole space.

The client originally approached us with a simple request — to replace their deck and retile around the pool. Instead of just taking instructions, we listened, explored their ideas, and carefully assessed the site.

From this, we saw an opportunity to elevate the entire space.
We proposed a fully tiled pool surround and patio area, creating a seamless, modern finish that would make the area feel larger, reduce maintenance, and deliver greater long-term value. The client embraced the vision, and with our detailed proposal and step-by-step guidance through product selections and demolition, the project came to life.

Today, what was once a tired outdoor area has been transformed into a clean, spacious, and inviting extension of the home. The new poolside setting not only enhances lifestyle but also sets the stage for countless gatherings where family and friends can connect and create lasting memories.

This Twin Waters renovation proves the biggest transformations don’t always start with a blank canvas. 👏🏼

We were engaged to breathe new life into the Turner family’s existing pool and surrounds extending the wet edge wall, relevelling the pool shell and giving the whole space a fresh finish that flows into the home’s outdoor living areas.

Finished in pebblecrete, paired with 600x400x20mm Porcelain coping tiles and ceramic mosaic waterline tiles, the pool now reads clean and refreshed. New 600x600x10mm Porcelain Tiles were laid across the alfresco and pool surrounds to match the coping, framed by Frameless Glass Pool Fencing an uninterrupted sightline.

The existing timber deck was extended to meet the new pool edge, incorporating the existing Trex decking boards reclaimed from the original bench seat, while new artificial turf extends out to meet the pool shell.

This one came with its challenges infilling the existing pond, matching new concrete and tiling seamlessly into the existing structure, and extending the wet edge wall without compromising the pool shell. The result is a refreshed space built around how the Turner family uses their outdoor area.

A full pool and outdoor living renovation for Silver Sea on Sixth Resort in Maroochydore — and the scope on this one speaks for itself.

Complete pool renovation across the main pool, lap pool and raised spa with pebblecrete resurfacing in Blue Ice, new waterline and coping tiles, ceramic mosaic step highlights, new pool ladders, stair rails, safety rails, and seven new multi-colour LED lights throughout.

Some new internal stairs constructed in the lap pool, all plumbing and filtration checked and recommissioned, and the entire pool surround waterproofed, bedded and tiled in porcelain.

A brand new outdoor kitchen to finish it off with new cabinetry, benchtop, porcelain tile splashback, and a full electrical and plumbing recommission.
