Director Simon Hanson recently took the stage at The Urban Developer Sydney Residential Summit, sharing SRH A’s vision for the future of North Parramatta.

Our Albert St and Church St mixed-use residential tower projects were showcased as leading examples of urban renewal — integrating public domain, retail and residential living to create connected, community-focused places through architecture and placemaking.

Thank you to for inviting us to share our insights alongside esteemed development and planning specialists. It was great to contribute our expertise to such a critical housing forum.

Our first DA approval of 2026! 🎉

SRH A is pleased to share the Court approval for a new shop-top housing development in Terrigal.

Located on a prime beachfront and corner site within Terrigal Village Centre, the elegant yet playful proposal will contribute to and enhance the vibrant beachside character. A series of punched volumes and landscaped elements are thoughtfully composed to form a collection of volumes appropriately scaled to the sensitive context. The skilful design maximises allowable FSR while mitigating view impacts to prized beach, ocean, and scenic views.

High-end housing with private rooftop amenity is coupled with generous retail tenancies and public domain improvements, creating a development to be enjoyed by the wider community.

Congratulations to our Client for this milestone approval. Sincere thanks to the entire consultant team for their dedication to reach this wonderful outcome.

DA APPROVAL! We are pleased to have our Land and Environment appeal upheld for 3 Knox St, Double Bay!

This mixed-use development approval contributes to the revitalisation of Double Bay's commercial centre with a 5 storey mixed-use proposal including boutique retail and commercial offerings, paired with cosmopolitan residential apartments. The design and urban response embraces the difficult site conditions and enhances the intimate laneway setting while achieving significant additional height and FSR.

Congratulations to our committed Client and a warm thank you to the entire project team for all their hard work.

Port Arthur is a UNESCO World Heritage site and is one of the most-visited tourist attractions in Tasmania with up to half a million visitors annually.
In 2014 SRHA’s Dr. Richard Barnes lead the structural design to help preserve the Penitentiary building ruins and make it safely accessible for visitors.

The Penitentiary is the largest building on site. It was originally built as a flour mill to supply the early colony in Hobart. In the early 1900s, wildfires burnt out the roof. 200 years of exposure to weather have taken their toll on the building fabric.

Elegant steel columns with branching arms lightly embracing the walls are the main visible components of the strengthening. Other elements were added hidden from sight to augment the columns without detracting from the heritage fabric.

In late 2024, SRHA were asked by Port Arthur’s management, PAHSMA, to undertake a ten year review of the effectiveness of these works and we’re pleased to see that the structure continues to stand strong!

“Big changes are coming! 🏚️➡️🏠

The kids couldn’t wait to see the new house take shape, so they took matters into their own hands and started a countdown on the wall!

✨The demolition begins soon at this great project in Rose Bay, and we’re excited to be part of this family’s adventure.

SRHA is pleased to share one of our newest alteration and additions projects - Victory Street, Rose Bay.

We’ve reimagined this family dwelling with open-plan living, dining and kitchen areas perfect for family living, complemented by a new outdoor dining area that seamlessly connects back to internal living spaces.

A sophisticated façade with curved balconies, sandstone cladding and floor-to-ceiling glazing offers uninterrupted harbour views.

Swipe right to see renovated interiors of the house.
