We are very pleased that the luxury hotel and residential apartment project we have designed for Conquest has just been approved through the Department of Planning’s SSDA Pathway.
This is another example of how PTI works to integrate multiple uses, which have a high level of synergy between them to support and assist each other operationally and commercially.
This is especially the case with our work over many years designing projects that integrate hotels, high quality residential apartments, conference & meeting facilities, restaurants and bars, and health and wellness centres.

We are very happy to report that the Planning Proposal we have designed for at 90 to 96 Phillip Street Parramatta has this week been formally approved and legislated.

This is to be a mixed-use development located on the river front adjacent to Parramatta’s Ferry Wharf, and is another significant building in the Parramatta CBD that we have had the privilege to assist our Clients to design.

The design works to provide the facilities and accommodation of our Client’s vision as well as to capture and enhance the shimmering patterns of the river in a highly modulated building form.

This being to add to the magic, calming and pleasurable feeling of being in this highly picturesque part of the river.

This month we have been able to achieve DA Approval for this 3 new apartment building development in Waterloo from the City of Sydney

The concept has been to create a very pleasant residential development that also celebrates the special history of the site and of the area.

PTI Architecture was originally asked by one of our Clients to advise on the potential of this site prior to auction.

Although our Client was unsuccessful in securing the site at auction, we were pleasantly surprised that another of our Clients was the winning bidder and called us soon after securing it ~ and so we started work on this project thinking that it was very much “a meant to be” project for us.

It has nevertheless been challenging, as many projects in the City of Sydney area are ~ especially when there are a whole range of heritage conservation, flood and urban design issues. Council requested the retention of some elements of the existing building such as the brick rear and side facade, doors and windows, which drove the design of this project.
We have been able to come to a good outcome for the project, resulting recently in Development Application Approval.
