Changing pace with yet ANOTHER fOrBiE🔧🍉

Shortly after picking up his new toy, Jason reached out to us to install front and rear dash cams on his 2021 Nav 🎥

We paired him with the up to date Blackvue DR750X-2CH Plus. This met all of his criteria with Parking Mode, Full HD 1080p recording, GPS and wide angle lenses to protect him from any future insurance hassles. Cheap insurance in the long run!

Tiyoda Corolla! 🎧🍉 First car, First system & more to come!

Another happy customer! AJ came to us to fit out his trusty Toyota Corolla with a new head-unit. For younger drivers who aren’t able to use a phone cradle, having apple car play and android auto is a must - especially when familiarising themselves with directions. We guided AJ through a selection of head units best befitting his budget and ended with the stunning Pioneer DMH-Z6350BT! This gave him everything he was after including wireless Apple CarPlay & android auto.

We are thrilled to be part of AJ’s automotive upgrade journey! He’s invited us back for his next upgrade - speakers, subwoofers & amplification! Everything he needs to make it loud!! Nissan GU Patrol Single Cab - Subwoofer, Amplifier & Speaker Amplifier Installation + Wiring & Diagnosis

George () the owner of this tuff TD Patrol came to us with a simple goal in mind - upgrade his audio system to elevate his driving experience without breaking the bank!

We helped George source second-hand equipment including a subwoofer and amplifiers to meet the budget outlined. Installation of the single slim 10inch Kicker ported subwoofer was accompanied by a small but powerful Rockford Fosgate 500W amplifier. This install complimented the existing Kicker 6.5inch component speakers which were initally driven off the headunits power. We also installed a Pioneer 100W per channel amplifier to power the exisitng Kicker component speakers. Not only did this enhance the sound clarity and quality, but it enabled the system to retained audio quality at considerably higher volume levels.

We also spent some time repairing exisiting wiring that had become faulty overtime in previous installations. The overall systems perfomance was considerably louder and clearer with strong low-end filling the cabin unifromly!

Mitsubishi VR Lancer - Subwoofer & Amplifier Installation

This customer initially came to us to purchase a subwoofer for her vehicle. We then sourced a second-hand amplifier to meet the budget outlined. Installation of the twin 12-inch Alpine Type S Subwoofers was accompanied by a Pioneer Champion Series 300w Amplifier. This install complimented the existing Kicker door speakers creating a nice balanced and warm low-end presence to the audio mix.

Mazda 121 (Bubble) - Full Sound System Install

This install was on one of our very own demo cars! Featuring an Alpine 12-inch Apple Car Play Floating Display, and two 12-inch Kickers in an aggressively ported subwoofer enclosure that takes up almost the entire boot! The subwoofers are driven by a JL Audio 500W RMS monoblock amplifier, delivering clear and punchy bass. This is accompanied by Alpine's latest Pro Series 6.5-inch component speakers in the front and 4-way Kenwood 6x9 speakers in the back driven at 75W each. The overall sound mix has aggressive highs and hair-moving bass just how we like it!

Toyota Landcruiser Sahara - Headunit & Subwoofer Install

This customer came to us with his 100 Series Landcruiser wanting to take advantage of the large cabin space and modernise the cabin experience. After sitting in our demo car and seeing the 12-inch Alpine Halo Floating Display he wanted this same experience in his car! The existing door speakers were used as they already had a great sound but the overall mix begged for a subwoofer. The customer described to us that he wanted a clean and accurate representation of bass with the ability to make the bass aggressive if so desired. We then installed a twin 12-inch subwoofer setup in a non-ported enclosure, powered to 250W RMS each which was supplied by the customer. The overall mix fitted the customer's description to a tee, providing a great balanced sound mix with an aggressive low on command!

Nissan GU Patrol - Headunit, Tweeter & Subwoofer Install

This was one of our personal vehicles before Audio Melon was created! We took advantage of the existing aftermarket door speakers and added Alpine Type R tweeters to boost the lacklustre highs in the sound mix. Driving the sound was Pioneer's Inline amplifier which is situated behind the head unit. It's a great way to boost audio quality and volume without compromising space! This was coupled with Pioneer's 9-inch Floating Display featuring our favourite in-car application (Apple Car Play). We also had two 12-inch Pioneer Champion Series Subwoofers installed and powered by the same JL Audio Amplifier in our demo car today!
