Another site bench underway this week at FRC LEGO STRUCTURES PTY LTD 👊

We started cutting the block and quickly hit solid rock, which meant the team spent the last 5 days on the rock breaker getting through it. Even with the tough ground conditions, we still met the builder’s deadline and completed the cut, fill and final trim ready for the next stage of construction.

The boys started with full site prep and bulk excavation, setting all levels before moving into the final laser trim. Everything has now been laser graded, shaped and prepared ready for piers, formwork and slab prep.

The team started by stripping the site and removing all grass and unsuitable material to prepare for excavation works. Once the block was cleared, all split levels were carefully set out before commencing bulk cut and fill operations with the posi track and excavator.

Following completion of the excavation works, the tractor carried out the final laser trim to ensure all levels were accurate and ready for the next stage of construction. The site is now prepared for the concreters to complete drop edge cut outs and pier excavation.

Another quality project completed by FRC LEGO Structures.

This project involved full site preparation, benching, piering, pod steel preparation and concrete works from start to finish.

We began by clearing and preparing the site, removing approximately 340 tonnes of material to achieve required levels across the build platform. Using our 5T Kubota and T650, the team completed all piering, benching and material load out before installing bottom boards ready for plumbing rough-in.

Once plumbing was completed, we returned to finalise pod prep, steel fixing and slab preparation ready for concrete.

Pour day came with plenty of rain, but the team pushed through and delivered a quality finish across the slab.
