We bought the 130 acre farm in 2020.
This property was a cattle farm. The only building on the property was a bulldozer shed.
The Realestate agent said he could see us doing it up to live in. My reply was there is no way I will ever live in that. (Funny how things change).
We designed the house of our dreams and the area to build it.
While waiting for our DA to be approved we went ahead and renovated the bulldozer shed, so we could live comfortably on the property.
18 months later and still no approval from council regarding our DA, we decided to stay in the shed. We had done so much work renovating the shed. The concrete floor had Poplar leave impressions all over. It also had railway tracks for the bulldozer to drive on embedded in the concrete. This may sound odd, but it gives the shed real character.
