Pool personality a little high maintenance lately? 💧😅
Cooler weather has a funny way of exposing the little pool issues that are easy to ignore.
The good news is, most of the time, a few small tweaks early can lower running costs and save a whole lot of effort later on.
❄️ Here are winter’s smartest pool care tips:
✔️ Keep your water balanced
Even in winter, your pool still needs regular testing. Aim to keep pH between 7.2–7.6, maintain chlorine levels and shock your pool when needed to help prevent algae and cloudy water.
✔️ Stay ahead of build-up
Leaves, debris and algae can settle quickly when your pool is used less. Brush the walls, vacuum regularly and clean your filters before winter build-up becomes harder to manage.
✔️ Adjust your running costs
Winter is a good time to reduce filter running times, switch solar heating to winter mode and use a pool cover to help retain heat, reduce evaporation and keep debris out.
Smarter pool care now means fewer surprises, less effort and lower bills.
