Organic turmeric from dads garden. Making it into a tincture (extract). Added a few mint leaves in. Wash, chop it up (skin on), put in jar, add solvent (in this case vodka) and leave it for at least a month to work its magic. I agitate it ever day. From now on I’m only picking things that match. Today is blue day. Most days will be green day. Sometimes there will be yellow day. Not really, but I thought this bluish prettiness was a bit spesh.

Christmas present prep. Going to make some flavoured salts and rubs for gifts. This one has parsley, rosemary, lemon and onion. I’ll probably add onion powder. Any other ideas?

The hens are on fire (figuratively) and so is the lettuce and spinach. I predict some mini lunchbox quiches in the near future.

If your having a bad day can I suggest growing some fragrant herbs, wandering out to pick them, seeping them in hot water and sipping out of a pretty tea cup. Trust me. Your day will be better.
