🤍🌦 The rain didn’t stop our beautiful Vereen & Jarel. They don’t even drink coffee! but without hesitation, in the pouring rain, came over to say hi and welcome me back.
Little things like that mean so much – they totally overcast the soaked hair, drenched overalls, and soaked shoes
( yep I looked like a wet rat! 🥴}

So I did brave the heavy rain, a van door that wouldn't hold up, my knock box that I forgot at home but I felt so grateful for people reaching out with umbrellas, towels, and even a plastic rubbish bag to improvise as a raincoat 😅– typical of the kind community at Parable Church that goes out of their way!!! Thank you 🙏

I sat in service with a tea towels wrapped around me, but I loved every moment. Hearing the powerful message from Pastor Pete and of course the worship music where I can surrender and let go {even if its just for that moment}

💐 Hope you’re all well! Just enjoying the holidays, taking it slow by the beach… sun, sand, and my journal.
Loving the local cafes and their coffee while I’m here ☕️

In between the relaxing, I finally did the thing I’ve been quietly working on — Piccolo & Petals now has a website. {nothing flash or anything just a simple platform to reach me on-line)

If you’ve ever had a coffee from the van, cheered me on, or just love coffee vibes, this one’s for you.

As 2025 comes to a close, I just want to pause and say a BIG THANK YOU!! 🫶🧡

This year has been full of early mornings, long days, beautiful events, and so many friendly faces that make it all worth it.

From markets to private functions and everything in between, I’m so grateful for every booking, every coffee shared, and every kind word.
To everyone who supported Piccolo & Petals this year — you’ve truly made it special.

See this smile? It’s a smile of gratitude… and also one that’s happy to be taking a little time off. This photo was taken at a beautiful bridal shower event, one of the many special moments I got to be part of this year. Thank you for trusting me on your most special day!!! Its an absolute honor!!!

I’m really looking forward to more of these special events in the year ahead, with a Bridal Expo already on the horizon — so exciting!

A huge thank you to my family, friends, and all the incredible people behind the scenes who help make these events and moments possible.

I’ll be taking a short break over the holidays to rest and recharge, and will be back serving you all at the end of January 2026 ☕️

We had the pleasure of attending the Yamaha Christmas Party 🎄
It was a hot one, but such a lovely crowd to serve! Our Iced Peach & Passionfruit Blood Orange & Pomegranate Tea and Iced Lattes went down a treat — so popular people kept coming back for more.
It was especially nice being welcomed by those who remembered me and the coffee from last time — that made my day.
And I was gifted a sweet little treat for the drive home! Thank you!

Piccolo & Petals Coffee Service this morning .school for a special staff breakfast to wrap up the school year. ☕🎄

I met the coolest principal and had a great chat at 6am about Malta and Italy before he jumped on the BBQ to cook breakfast for his staff.

The staff were so grateful and loved our little Christmas set up — they perfectly complemented their festive outfits.
Iced lattes went down beautifully, with many coming back for seconds, adding Vanilla Syrup!

We did beat the heat! Now happy to be home!
Only a few more events before closing for a holiday break!!

There was plenty of excitement on the playground this morning as students received their ATAR results. Staff shared in the excitement, proud of their students’ achievements and ready to enjoy a well-earned school break. Piccolo & Petals Coffee was there to keep everyone fuelled during the celebrations.

Over the weekend we were so honoured to be back celebrating another special event with the Canterbury Bulldogs 💙☕️
Piccolo & Petals had the pleasure of serving members at the Bulldogs Christmas Members Party, and it was such a great day all round.

It was extra special for me because I brought along my beautiful footy fanatic niece Amia and my very excited husband David. While I was smashing out iced lattes and peach iced teas they were off mingling with members, chasing players and collecting signatures 🤭

Such a fun day, and I’m mostly just grateful that David and Amia got to experience the excitement and be up close with the team.
Events like these make it all worth it.🐶💙

Over the weekend, we had the pleasure of attending the Christmas markets at Gledswood Homestead Winery. 🎄

Thinking back to 2023, when I was still teaching and hadn’t launched Piccolo & Petals yet, I got a call from Gledswood Homestead Winery asking if I could attend their Wine Tasting Family Picnic Day. I froze. I told them I’d call back. I wasn’t ready, but I didn’t want to miss the opportunity at this location its a beautiful venue and I didnt want to delay Launching Piccolo & Petals any longer cause I was scared.

That afternoon, I threw together my supplies to get prepared for that weekend, completely unsure of what I was doing. I felt stupid and felt it was easier playing it safe in the classroom teaching again.

But I wont forget the encouragement from my family and friends who came out that day to support me and help me serve customers cause I didn't know what I was doing! —So their help made my day! I let my own negative thoughts take over and broke down to my dear friend Liz while sitting in the passenger seat saying, “I can’t do this. What am doing and who am I kidding" I felt like I was in over my head!

Fast forward almost two years, and here I am—back at Gledswood, same spot, thinking on how far I’ve come. The growth, the confidence, the gratitude and serving alongside my daughter Isabella.

I could of caved in to those thoughts and thank God i didn't!!!

Well the day went fast and we loved chatting with the other vendors and, of course, couldn’t resist picking up some fresh flowers and pastries along the way. 🌸🥐

I forgot I was selling Pastizzi's that day!! Think its time to bring them back 🤭

Piccolo & Petals Coffee Service at Chifley College Shalvey Campus for the Year 6 to Year 7 orientation.

As soon as I pulled up, a group of girls caught my eye — they dropped their backpacks, turned on some music and started freestyling with so much confidence and joy. That set the morning!

Had a nice chat with a few Year 9 girls about their dreams for the future. Some want to pursue choreography, others PE teaching and even physiotherapy for athletes. One of them reminded me so much of my niece Mia.

Pretty cool morning— thank you for having me Chifley College! ☕✨
