Changing Places Facilities at Engadine.
It’s bucketing down today so there’s nothing happening today but I can report that there’s been a lot of activity with the walls about 50% printed, and I’m very happy to say that they look amazing!

Alberti, Scammozi or Borromini could only have dreamt of such 3D forms and spaces that are going to be become possible now and into the future with this cutting edge 3D concrete printing technology

This is the site of our project for Cooper Street Reserve in Engadine which is now under construction but when went there recently it didn’t look like much was happening. However, I’ve been reliably informed that the ground floor slab has been poured and some 3D concrete printing will take place next week.

Can’t wait to see that!

Sydney 🇦🇺 📐🍀 Cooper Street Reserve Amenities. This is a building we’ve been working on for a few years now and after a few hiccups and some periods during which it was stalled, it’s finally about to start on site. It’s a really cool “changing places” amenities block - cool for two reasons. Firstly it’s the first council building in Australia that will be printed with 3D concrete and secondly because it provides access to the most severely disabled people who might like to go to a park for the day. The “changing places” concept allows people to be have a shower, (using a hoist if needed), get changed and dressed again. It allows the most severely disabled people to get out of doors and visit a park with the dignity that they deserve.

Sydney 🇦🇺 📐🍀 This is a project we’ve been working on near Charing Cross for a few years. It’s an addition to the rear of a terrace house and we managed to fit three sories (with a small attic) into the two storey height limit. The DA was approved and a modified version of it is due to start on site in the near future.

Sydney 🇦🇺 📐🍀 Prototype Container Home. This is a design for a bushfire resistant container home that we did a few years ago. It can be closed up with steel panels when you're not here. It has a foldaway double bed and a nice deck. It was never built but if you'd like to do something like this get in touch with us - we can help:)

Sydney 🇦🇺 📐🍀 Paddington Garden Room - Sydney 🇦🇺 Here are some design renderings for the project before it started. There was a luxurious garden - almost a small jungle outside the existing house. The intention is to restore this after the project is finished so that it almost disappears into the vegetation as shown in these renders (its hard to see the difference:)⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠
