Bellevue Hill House - Alterations and Additions 2025. Part 1 - Entry and principal facade. Designed in collaboration with Michael Suttor Architects, the project took the shell of an existing historic building to create a four story residence, utilising the attic and basement spaces to maximise usable floor space. Covered and open terraces surrounded by planters allow for a seamless connection with the outdoor environment, a must in Sydneys humid and temperate climate. Steel doors and windows help to give the residence a clean restrained look, accompanied by zinc and copper detailing. The use and continuation of the sandstone base helps to tie the new build back into the old charm and character of the original, providing warmth and texture to the exterior of the building. Part 2 coming soon…..
