Bellevue Hill House - Alterations and Additions 2025. Part 1 - Entry and principal facade. Designed in collaboration with Michael Suttor Architects, the project took the shell of an existing historic building to create a four story residence, utilising the attic and basement spaces to maximise usable floor space. Covered and open terraces surrounded by planters allow for a seamless connection with the outdoor environment, a must in Sydneys humid and temperate climate. Steel doors and windows help to give the residence a clean restrained look, accompanied by zinc and copper detailing. The use and continuation of the sandstone base helps to tie the new build back into the old charm and character of the original, providing warmth and texture to the exterior of the building. Woollahra House

Designed in collaboration with Michael Suttor, this grand project sought to transform and comprehensively amalgamate two properties into a single family residence with all manner of amenity and luxury. Featuring a unique entry pavilion/garage with guest residence below, cascading landscaped gardens, pool and cabana and a tennis court at the lower end of the site. Various covered outdoor spaces and terraces and balconies were added to the existing residence creating multi functional indoor/outdoor rooms appropriate to Sydneys climate and life style of the client. A gym, feature staircase, additional bedrooms and home cinema were also incorporated into the design, all articulated through a neo classical architectural language, appropriate for the scope and scale of the project.

New concept design sketches for a project in Melbourne highlighting a mix of potential materials and design variations.

The design takes advantage of a combination of black steel windows and dark charcoal vertical timber cladding to contrast against the light natural stone and render finish.

These materials combined with the vertical proportions of the openings give the house a rustic North American aesthetic uncommon in contemporary Australian architectural expression.

Here are some images of a project we worked on in Wimbledon, London. Extensive renovations, such as a loft conversion, rear extension, and side extension, were made; The design focused on harmonising with the existing Victorian townhouse typology while providing ample new space. We used natural wearing materials to add to the overall rustic character of the build.
