One of our customers is mid-build on the Rylestone — and yes, that's aircraft hangar sheeting going up alongside their home. The photos show flashing and sheeting over the top of the fire wall above the house roof and hangar wall. Work in progress!

So much happening on Russell Island right now — and this custom build is coming along beautifully! 🙌
Doors and windows are in, and this stunning home on a slope is really taking shape. The deck is still to come, but when it's done? Those water views are going to be absolutely unreal. 😍

And that space underneath — perfect shelter from those summer storms. Practical AND beautiful.

We cannot wait to see this family cross the finish line! 🏁

One of our favourite things to include in a home? The small upgrades that make everyday life feel a little more effortless.

This window at our Paradise Point development is a great example — a hydraulic opening mechanism that lets it swing out smoothly with almost no effort. When you've got a balcony with a view like this, being able to open it up and blur the line between inside and out is something else. And it's perfect for catching a cross-breeze too.

That's one of the best parts about building your own home — you choose where to put your money. Upgrade the features that matter to you, skip the ones that don't.

Nearly there on this modified Nova Instyle and it's looking incredible.

This one has been tailored specifically for the site, slope, and our customer's wishlist. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a rumpus room, and our favourite detail? Walk-in-robes in both bathrooms AND a walk-in pantry. The storage in this floorplan is something else. 😍

This week we're touring a completed and fully staged three-bedroom apartment in Paradise Point on the Gold Coast — and it's a good one. Keith kicks things off outside before we head in and walk through all three storeys together.
The layout is practical and well thought out — ground floor is the garage, the first floor opens up into the kitchen and living areas (plus a powder room), and the top floor is where all three bedrooms and two bathrooms are tucked away. Fully furnished and right by the water, it's hard to imagine a better result.

A lot of people don't realize that steel frame kit homes can be this big. Well, think again!

A little behind the scenes from last night! 👀

The team was hard at work packing a kit home for its journey to Tasmania — and when you're crossing Bass Strait, a shipping container is the only way to go. Most of our mainland kits travel by truck, but it's a whole different operation when the sea's involved!

Steep block problems require steep block solutions. 🏗️

This is the Spur going up in Worongary — 5 bed, 5 bath, 548m² designed to work with the slope. Lower floor steps in, upper floor opens out big.

You don't usually see a crane on one of our kits, but when you've got large open spans and structural steel beams to place, you need the right gear for the job.

Framing is underway on the Spur out at Worongary 👀

If you spotted the crane in these photos — that's some serious steel going into place. Those beams are key structural elements that make the wide, open-plan spaces in this design possible. You can see exactly how it all comes together in the floor plans (swipe through — we've included them too 📐).

The Spur is one of our larger designs: 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms and 548m² of space, all on a BlueScope TRUECORE® steel frame.

What makes this build extra interesting is the site itself — it's a steeply sloped block, so the home has a smaller lower floor and a larger upper floor. Rather than fighting the slope, the design works with it, making the absolute best use of the space the land offers.
