Privacy was a missing piece in our North Avoca project.

By introducing a hallway, we created clear separation between the living spaces, instantly improving privacy and noise separation.

Previously, every room in the home was accessible as soon as you walked through the front door. Now, behind this wall sit three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a laundry, all properly zoned for everyday living.

Windows, doors and shading play a huge role in how any Passive House performs day to day.

Working alongside dieppe design, our team carefully executed the installation of these high-performance double glazed window and door units supplied by BINQ Windows.

Large sliding doors and strategically placed windows ensure light moves naturally through every space and each glazed unit is modelled pre-construction to achieve maximum performance of the house.

Controlled heat gain during summer to stop overheating and controlled heat gain during winter to keep the building warm, thus minimising the use of mechanical heating/cooling through the AC system.

In a Passive House, these details are critical, every opening is designed and built to balance light, temperature, and energy efficiency without compromise.
