To our new and wonderful community, thank you for your patience during our quiet period. Behind the scenes, we’ve been undergoing a profound and beautiful transformation, and we are so excited to finally share our news.

We are incredibly proud to announce that Nambi Home is now a 100% Indigenous-owned and run business.

This has been a journey of deep reflection, leading to a new chapter that allows us to fully and authentically ground Nambi Home in its cultural heart. This evolution gives us more space than ever to celebrate Aboriginal culture, values, and our deep commitment to sustainability.

Leading this new direction is Ariane, who is continuing as the sole owner. Ariane is a proud Biripi & Worimi woman, leading Nambi Home on Darkinjung Country.

Our new product range is being thoughtfully realigned to reflect this homecoming. We are almost ready to launch a collection that is even more connected to culture, Country, and the core values that define Nambi Home.

NAIDOC Week 2025 has been full of little moments that meant a lot.

My son’s preschool has been incredible in supporting culture both in the past and during NAIDOC Week. This week they’ve been reading The Bunyip and the Stars - a beautiful Dreamtime story written by a relative of ours, Adam Duncan. It’s about family, bunyips, and the creation of the stars, and they’ve been doing activities around it all week. You can buy a copy of The Bunyip and the Stars at National Museum of Australia and Kakadu Plum Co. 😍

We also watched Gathang Djuyal: Gathang Stories at home together - hearing stories in our own language from Biripi Country, like How Taree Got Its Name. It’s been so powerful sharing those stories with him and watching him start to connect in his own way.

On Monday, we’ll be going to a Smoking Ceremony at his preschool. And I’ll be reflecting more on how I can keep walking this path of learning culture - both for myself and for him.

And for anyone who is interested, the p**nunciation of "burray" is [b]oor-rye.
