The secret to a healthy plant isnt just water, fertiliser or enough light, not even singing to them (although I think they do love my singing) it all starts with where they get their nutrients....yep the dirt!
I have always found the soil or garden mixes that can be purchased to be less than great. So that is when I started making my own!
With a few secret ingredients my plants have been thriving happier than ever!
1 simple mix I can share for your indoor potted plants; alocasia, monstera varieties, pothos, sygonium etc
Mix 3 parts soil (premium garden soil is best) to 1 part pearlite. Add roughly 1 part coir peat (I wet my coir with seasol mix) sphagnum moss is also good to mix into your soil, or sit on top to keep moist and reduce watering the nutrients in this mix will allow for superior growth.
Give it a try and watch your babies grow amazingly ❤️
