Woombye Community Garden 12 Campbell Street is on loan from the Woombye Bowls Club to create a common space that locals can use for community interests like gardening & activities.

The Woombye Community are coming together to help make the world a better place, by designing and building a beautiful Garden in the heart of Woombye. If you would like to be involved please feel free to attend our meetings or send an email to [email protected].

Just launched! Get ready to be inspired by our gardening workshop program:
The Backyard Series. 🌼

Saturday mornings from August to November, learn how to create beautiful native gardens with the Sunshine Coast region's leading native nurseries, Landcare groups, plant experts and eco-businesses.

Choose one or more workshops:
1️⃣ Build your own hollow log home
2️⃣ Learn how to create a microforest
3️⃣ Fall in love with coastal heathland
4️⃣ Discover which plants thrive in which soils
5️⃣ Make a house for native bees
6️⃣ Create a frog hotel
7️⃣ Grow a bushfood garden
8️⃣ Become a w**d warrior

Woombye Community & Business Association (WCBA) is actively seeking community engagement regarding the proposed telecommunication tower. PLEASE, come along to the monthly WCBA meeting, 6 pm on 20th Feb Hill to learn more and have your opinion heard. You do not need to be a member to attend, however only WCBA members can participate in any votes on how / if the WCBA should respond to this proposal.
