Prime Bank Priority Banking Branch in Dhanmondi

Prime Bank is one of the leading financial institutions in Bangladesh. Architrave was commissioned to redesign the Priority Banking Branch at Satmasjid Road, Dhanmondi, with a focus on enhancing functionality while respecting the existing operational context.

The project involved converting the remaining areas of the building into a dedicated Priority Banking facility, while retaining the existing eye hospital in accordance with the client’s requirements. Architrave delivered comprehensive layout planning, exterior retrofitting, interior design, structural and construction drawings, ensuring seamless integration between old and new functions.

All design solutions—including layout, interior, and structural components—were developed with meticulous attention to detail and professional integrity. In response to specific client needs, an external lift was introduced to improve vertical connectivity, while a lattice screen was incorporated as an architectural extension. This element enhances the building’s visual appeal and effectively reduces solar heat gain and external noise.

The project was executed with clarity and precision, resulting in a design that fully aligned with the client’s operational and aesthetic objectives, and reflects Architrave’s commitment to responsive, context-sensitive design.

টপ ফ্লোর এর অ্যাপার্টমেন্ট এবং ছাদের জন্য ইনোভেটিভ সলিউশন: হিট এবং ড্যাম্প প্রতিরোধের উপায়

টপ ফ্লোর এর অ্যাপার্টমেন্টগুলো নিয়ে অনেকেরই একটাই চিন্তা—অতিরিক্ত গরম ও স্যাঁতসেঁতে পরিবেশ। এসব সমস্যার সমাধান সম্ভব। কিছু কার্যকর সমাধান হতে পারেঃ

মোটা দেয়াল ব্যবহার করা: পাঁচ ইঞ্চি নয়, ১০ ইঞ্চি দেয়াল ব্যবহার করলে বাইরের গরম ভেতরে আসা কমে যায়, যা ঘরকে ঠান্ডা রাখতে সাহায্য করে।

ইনসুলেশন: ছাদে আধুনিক ইনসুলেশন ম্যাটেরিয়াল ব্যবহার করে তাপমাত্রা কমানো যায়। এতে ছাদের উপর প্রচণ্ড গরম থাকলেও ভেতরের তাপমাত্রা নিয়ন্ত্রণে থাকে।

ফ্লোর হাইট বাড়ানো: ১০ ফিটের পরিবর্তে ১০.৫ ফিট ফ্লোর টু ফ্লোর হাইট রাখলে ঘর খোলামেলা হয় এবং বাতাস চলাচল সহজ হয়, যা ঘর ঠান্ডা রাখতে সহায়ক।

ডাবল গ্লেজিং উইন্ডো: থিক গ্লাস বা ডাবল গ্লেজিং উইন্ডো ব্যবহার করলে বাইরের গরম বাতাস ভেতরে ঢুকতে পারে না, ফলে ঘর আরামদায়ক থাকে।

ওয়াটারপ্রুফিং: ছাদে সঠিক ওয়াটারপ্রুফিং করলে বৃষ্টির পানি জমতে পারে না এবং স্যাঁতসেঁতে ভাব থেকে মুক্তি পাওয়া যায়।
