Bejoy founder and CEO Joya Berlin received the 'Shopnojoyee Nari sommanona Award 2025' at a grand and lavish ceremony organized by the renowned Hardship Business Magazine and NRB World on April 12 at the Grand Ballroom of Hotel Sheraton in Dhaka. She was given this award for her social empowerment of women and her support for helpless women. The event was attended by the Special Assistant to the Honorable Chief Advisor, Mr. Faiz Ahmed Tayyab, Honorable Ambassador of the Netherlands to Bangladesh, Mr. Andre Carstens, Editor of Hardship Business Magazine and Founder of NRB World, Mr. Enamul Haque Enam.

Bejoy celebrated the arrival of 2025 with its dedicated team and staff. The Deputy Commissioner (DC) and Superintendent of Police (SP) of Faridpur district visited the factory to inspect operations and appreciate the skills of Bejoy’s workers.

Yesterday, we took a truck of food and a boat to reach some of the people affected by the flood. Providing food and support brought immense personal satisfaction. Meeting a widow with four children, whose home clings to a cliff after losing her husband to an electric shock in the floodwaters, reminded us of our blessings. Despite their dire situation, they were still sleeping in the house. Elijah and I found joy in giving back, thanks to Jacob babysitting. We're so grateful for what we have and the chance to help others in need. 💔🙏

গতকাল, আমরা একটি খাদ্য বোঝাই ট্রাক নিয়ে বন্যা আক্রান্ত মানুষকে সহযোগীতা করতে গিয়েছিলাম। ত্রান সহযোগীতা ও পাশে থাকার প্রবনতা ব্যক্তিগতভাবে অনেক তৃপ্তি নিয়ে আসে। ৪জন বাচ্চাসহ একজন বিধবার সাথে দেখা করেছি , বন্যায় বিদ্যুৎতাড়িত হয়ে যার স্বামী মারা গিয়েছে সে তার স্বামীর ভিটা আকঁড়ে ধরে আছে, যা আমাদেরকে এসব মানুষের জন্য প্রার্থনার কথা স্বরণ করিয়ে দেয়। এত কঠিন কষ্টের পরেও তারা তাদের ঘরে এখনো ঘুমায়। বিতরণের মাঝে আমি এবং এলিজা অনেক শান্তি খুঁজে পেয়েছি, বাচ্চাদের দেখাশুনা করার জন্য জ্যাকবকে ধন্যবাদ। আমাদের যা আছে তার জন্য এবং অন্যদের সহযোগীতা করার জন্য আমরা কৃতজ্ঞ।

An American couple stands by the helpless and flood victims in Noakhali District.

An American couple, Jacob Berlin and Joya Berlin, have established Bijoy International in Faridpur to stand by the helpless people of Bangladesh. The purpose of this social organization is to support helpless people and help them become self-reliant.

Bijoy International’s Managing Director, Jacob Berlin, and Director, Joya Berlin. Today is Joya Berlin and her daughter's birthday. Instead of hosting an event on their birthday, Joya Berlin and her family decided to use the money to help the helpless and flood victims. To commemorate her and her little daughter’s birthday, they distributed food items among the poor and helpless in Gopalpur, Begumganj Upazila, Noakhali District.The program was moderated by Farabi, the manager of Bijoy International, in front of Modupur Madrasah. Including Chief guests Begumganj Upazila’s Executive Officer Ariful Islam, along with Gopalpur Union Parishad Chairman Mosharof Hossain Mintu, Managing Director Jacob Berlin, Director Joya Berlin, and Ward No. 5 Member and Panel Chairman Moslay Uddin Salim, spoke at the program.

আমেরিকার এক দম্পতি জ্যাকব বার্লিন ও জয়া বার্লিন বাংলাদেশে অসহায় মানুষের পাশে দাঁড়াতে ফরিদপুরে গড়ে তুলেছেন বিজয় ইন্টারন্যাশনাল। এই সামাজিক সংগঠনের কাজ হলো অসহায় মানুষের পাশে থেকে তাদেরকে আত্মনির্ভরশীল করে গড়ে তোলা। ম্যানেজিং ডিরেক্টর জ্যাকব বার্লিন, ডিরেক্টর জয়া বার্লিন। আজ জয়া বার্লিন ও তাঁর মেয়ের জন্মদিন। জন্মদিনে কোন অনুষ্ঠান না করে সেই অনুষ্ঠানের টাকা দিয়ে অসহায় ও বন্যার্ত মানুষের পাশে দাঁড়িয়েছেন জয়া বার্লিন ও তার পরিবার। নিজের জন্ম দিন ও ছোট মেয়ের জন্মদিন স্মরণীয় করে রাখতে নোয়াখালীর বেগমগঞ্জ উপজেলার গোপালপুরে গরিব ও অসহায়দের মাঝে খাবার সামগ্রী বিতরণ করেন। শুক্রবার দুপুরে মধুপুর মাদ্রাসার সামনে বিজয় ইন্টারন্যাশনাল এর ম্যানেজার ফারাবীর সঞ্চালনায়, প্রধান অতিথির বক্তব্য রাখেন বেগমগঞ্জ উপজেলা নির্বাহী অফিসার আরিফুল ইসলাম, গোপালপুর ইউনিয়ন পরিষদের চেয়ারম্যান মোশাররফ হোসেন মি্ন্টু, ম্যানেজিং ডিরেক্টর জ্যাকব বার্লিন, ডিরেক্টর জয়া বার্লিন, ৫নং ওয়ার্ড মেম্বার ও প্যানেল চেয়ারম্যান মোসলে উদ্দিন সেলিম। উপস্থিত ছিলেন এই দম্পতির ৫ সন্তান আনন্দ, হাসি, খুশি, সুখি ও মিষ্টি।
