🌿এটি ইংরেজি বিশ্বে Rangoon Creeper নামে পরিচিত।

🌿রঙের পরিবর্তন: এর সবচেয়ে মজার বৈশিষ্ট্য হলো এটি সময়ের সাথে সাথে রঙ বদলায়। ফোটার সময় ফুলগুলো সাদা থাকে, এরপর হালকা গোলাপি এবং শেষে গাঢ় লাল বা মেরুন রঙ ধারণ করে। একারণে একই থোকায় সাদা, গোলাপি ও লাল ফুলের সুন্দর সহাবস্থান দেখা যায়।

🌿সুগন্ধ: বিশেষ করে সন্ধ্যায় এই ফুল থেকে খুব মিষ্টি সুগন্ধ বের হয়।

🌿বৈজ্ঞানিক নাম: এর বৈজ্ঞানিক নাম হলো Combretum indicum (আগের নাম ছিল Quisqualis indica)

🌿নামকরণ: কথিত আছে, বিশ্বকবি রবীন্দ্রনাথ ঠাকুর এই ফুলটির নাম দিয়েছিলেন 'মধুমঞ্জরী'।
