তেল ও আঁশ উৎপাদনকারী গুল্ম। মিশরে লিনেন জাতীয় বস্ত্র তৈরীতে এর ব্যবহার শুরু হয়। বর্তমানে তেল বীজ ও আঁশ হিসাবে ব্যবহার হয়। ফুলগুলো অপরূপ সুন্দর।

ঘরোয়া উপায়ে সার তৈরীর নির্দেশিকা

কলা খোসা – কেটে গাছের শিকড়ের কাছে পুঁতে দিন বা পানিতে ভিজিয়ে রাখুন, এটি পটাশিয়াম সরবরাহ করে।

কফি গুঁড়া – ব্যবহৃত কফির গুঁড়া গাছের চারপাশে ছিটিয়ে দিন, এটি মাটির অম্লত্ব ও জৈব পদার্থ বাড়ায়।

ডিমের খোসা – গুঁড়ো করে মাটির সাথে মিশিয়ে দিন, ধীরে ধীরে ক্যালসিয়াম যোগাবে।

এপসম লবণ – ১ টেবিল চামচ লবণ ১ গ্যালন পানিতে গুলে পাতায় স্প্রে করুন, এতে ম্যাগনেসিয়াম যোগ হবে।

আখের গুড় (মোলাসেস) – ১ টেবিল চামচ ১ গ্যালন পানিতে মিশিয়ে দিন, এতে মাটির জীবাণু খাবার পায় এবং পুষ্টি যোগ হয়।

অ্যাকোয়ারিয়ামের পানি – পুরনো মাছের ট্যাঙ্কের পানি গাছে ব্যবহার করুন (লবণাক্ত পানি নয়)।

কাঠের ছাই – অল্প করে গাছের চারপাশে ছিটিয়ে দিন, এতে পটাশিয়াম ও ক্যালসিয়াম মেলে (অম্লপ্রেমী গাছে ব্যবহার করবেন না)।

দুধ – ৫০/৫০ অনুপাতে পানির সাথে মিশিয়ে স্প্রে বা ঢেলে দিন, এতে ক্যালসিয়াম ও প্রোটিন সরবরাহ হয়।

সামুদ্রিক শৈবাল (তরল সার) – ধুয়ে কেটে ২৪ ঘণ্টা পানিতে ভিজিয়ে রাখুন, তারপর তরল সার হিসেবে ব্যবহার করুন।

সবজি উচ্ছিষ্ট – পানিতে সেদ্ধ করে ছেঁকে ঠান্ডা হলে সেই পানি সার হিসেবে ব্যবহার করুন।

আগাছার চা – কয়েকদিন পানিতে ভিজিয়ে রেখে ছেঁকে তরল সার হিসেবে ব্যবহার করুন।

HOMEMADE FERTILIZERS GUIDE

BANANA PEELS – Chop and bury near roots or soak in water for a potassium boost.

COFFEE GROUNDS – Sprinkle used grounds around plants to improve soil acidity and organic matter.

EGGSHELLS – Crush and mix into soil for slow-release calcium.

EPSOM SALT – Dissolve 1 tbsp in a gallon of water and spray on leaves for magnesium.

MOLASSES – Mix 1 tbsp in a gallon of water to feed soil microbes and add nutrients.

AQUARIUM WATER – Use old fish tank water to water plants (avoid saltwater).

WOOD ASH – Lightly sprinkle around plants for potassium and calcium (avoid using on acid-loving plants).

MILK – Dilute 50/50 with water and spray or pour for calcium and protein.

SEAW**D (liquid) – Rinse, chop, and soak in water for 24 hours before using as a liquid fertilizer.

VEGETABLE SCRAPS – Boil in water, strain, and use cooled water as a nutrient-rich broth.

W**D TEA – Steep weeds in water for a few days, strain, and use as a liquid fertilizer.
