Keep sowing fast-growing vegetables like lettuce, radishes and beetroot. Sow a little each week for a continuous harvest. Carrots, beans, courgettes and pak choi are still perfect to sow now.

In your greenhouse, strawberries are protected from birds, and taste even sweeter.

💧 Care
Water regularly (especially in warm weather), w**d in time and give flowering plants like tomatoes some extra nutrients for a generous harvest.

After the Ice Saints (11–15 May), the risk of night frost has almost completely disappeared.

🌿 Planting out in your greenhouse
Tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, aubergines, melons and courgettes can now be planted in their final position.

🌱 Sowing in the greenhouse
Celery, summer cauliflower, broccoli, gherkins, cucumber, bush beans, Chinese cabbage, melons and kale.

💧 Don’t forget plant care
Ventilate daily, water sufficiently and protect young plants from strong sunlight.

🍓 Extra tips for strawberries
Place some straw around your plants so the fruits don’t rest on wet soil. Also remove the flowers until the end of May, so the plant can grow stronger first.
