Day 6: most work ln the tall merman is finished… gave the hair a basecoat and wash.
Started working on the second merman… started with the basecoats and striping, mixing blues, greens and pink skintones into the fins and body…

Received my Mad Priest Miniatures 1:10 copy of “The story teller”. Looks really great!
It came with some tiny busts of existing Mad Priest releases, printed in scale 1:100!

I received a plinth, brush soap and some stickers aswell!

Progress on my Mindwork Games “The golden rose” model.
It’s an emotional piece of 2 mermen and a drowned women in the arms of a girl.
Taking my time with this piece and using a lot of stripling and thin stripe painting to build the skintones and volume.
It’s a very nice and detailed piece!

Day 5:
Davinci brush for scale.
Tall merman is getting along nice.
Somewhat struggling with the placement of the left ni**le as it is not sculpted on the miniature.
It’s just a tiby detail that will be painting when the rest of the tall merman is finished…
Did a lotbof work ln the chest and arm today.
I worked my way up till the neck and chin.

I added some close-ups (its nicer from afar) of the body…

Day 4:
A short video on how I accomplished some of the merman’s fleshtones… I used a lot of thin stripes and small dots in 10 tones of blue to build the skintone. I turn my brush every 5-10 dots to make sure I paint a different shape every time…

The golden rose Mindworks model is based on the painting by Donato Giancola. I shared some pictures of the raw model. It is made out of three parts: ultra modeled base, body and head.
It’s very high quality and highly detailed.

I started by giving each part a soapwater bath.
