A snake has done a right number on my kits 😭😭. Yesterday there was a box full and now there's 7. The snake was so fat it couldn't get out. With Graham's help we got it out. Both of us are terrified of them. In another 2 years we will look back and laugh at our reaction.
Almost exactly 2 years ago today the same thing happened.

I need a sign saying nope ropes not welcome.
We will be changing the wire to smaller gauge. Can't have this happening again. My nerves can't take it.

Fresh yogurt and fresh cherries for breakfast. Can it get any better? BLT for lunch. Homemade wholemeal bread roll with homemade mayo and homegrown swiss chard as the geese ate my lettuce.

Hello, good morning and welcome to you all.
Thank you new followers for joining me. It's busy season and I do try to post daily but sometimes life gets in the way.
Yesterday I tried to count the kits. (Baby rabbits) They're at the omg their so cute stage already. I couldn't count them as there's so many and they're so bouncy.
What I can tell you is they are all the same colour. 😂

We had a chicken hatch out yesterday with help. It had been trying for 2 days. It has a twisted neck. Nurse Lucy is looking after it. It's name is tikki.

7 kittens, 4 goslings, 4 chicks and around 8-9 kits. I feel we are finally getting back on our feet.

It's Friday!!! The sun is shining finally after yesterday's terrible weather. Weeding and grass cutting today between making beans and bread. What you up to?
The top grass is so long and wet it's going to be a nightmare to cut. One only has ones self to blame.

Right now it's exercise time. Loving doing improved health workouts on YouTube. Every morning top left screen there a different one. Today it's 70's disco. Whoop whoop

I did a thing. This might be a small thing to some but.... For me it's a bucket list thing.
I've been buying milk from our local dairy farmer and taking the cream off and saving it.
I defrosted the cream yesterday and today I made...... Butter!!!
My kitchens a bit warm for it but, it looks like butter and it tastes like butter. I'm so proud of myself. Small wins!!! Thank you Elvera for the delicious milk. ❤️ It's not in block form I know but who's going to see it?

Sadly these are all fail to hatch eggs. You can see one started but wasn't strong enough. It's so sad. We have one that's still trying to hatch and 3 turkey eggs left in the incubator.
The 3 that have hatched are thriving although, one is a brahma not a Wyandot as originally thought.

Well, let's break this down. Salad with parmesan, olive oil and avocado, topped with a pork mince seasoned to deliciousness then a special sauce topping. Served with stove top roasties.
This was delicious!! Super easy and so tasty. This was Lucy's tea. She really enjoyed it.
