Yesterday held quite a few hiccups. Went to our storage unit to grab a couple tools and the somewhat expensive lock I bought was totally pooched. Cut that up and put on a new one. Then arriving back at our temporary home I found the wind made me a sweet roadblock. Cut that up too. After that work I sat to relax and realized I was about to have my last AGD (the greatest beer ever made) in my stash that I brought with me across the country. With that said, it’s all taken in stride and we’re having a great time settling into our new adventure.

The eagle has landed! (Yesterday). We drove about 3,500kms in just over 3 days (the 4th day was a short 3 hour drive). Mostly great roads. Dryden to Thunder Bay was horrible conditions. The truck ate about $1,200 in gas. Leaving Alberta was $1.13/L, highest we found was $1.67 in Manitoba I believe. The Uhaul trailer towed like a dream and the whole trip was actually way more fun and way less stressful than I thought it would be. Due in no small part to riding shotgun! Can’t wait to never do it again! Hahaha. Also, these are literally all the pictures I took. In my defence I was driving the whole time.

Super cool black epoxy flood with highlights of orange and grey. Applied base coat with a squeegee and then drizzled on highlighter and disturbed with a narrow stick. The a random spray with denatured alcohol. Very fun project!
