We did a move yesterday for a client that is moving into Staywell Manor. Tristan and I did the packing and furniture at her inner city condo. The challenges for the day began with parking the rig which was like threading a needle. Fortunately I managed to get it backed into a very tight spot without incident. The second challenge was getting things out the door at her condo building with reversed doors and skinny hallways. It definitely helped having Tristan to help negotiate things through the building.
At the Staywell end, Margy joined the party, helping with the cleanup of the clients belongings and the suite set up. Tge pictures all went up prior to leaving and the suite looked great.

Spent the day in Calgary at The Manor Village Varsity, a building that Margy used to sell, moving a former client into their new two bedroom suite. We got everything into the suite and ensured things were wiped down prior to placement. Margy also packed up the kitchen and the ornaments so their trip up one floor went smoothly. Those items were all washed prior to going back in place.
We were also able to say hello to several former clients and staff members prior to leaving the building.

Two day move for Merdith and Rick out to their new home in Vernon. My son Steven and I packed up our trailer in Calgary with our clients possessions that remained here from a previous move. I was glad to have the added space that came with the new trailer as there was a fair amount to take with us. We got an early start yesterday and headed for Vernon. Upon arrival, the pod that we had loaded from a prior move we had done for them had just arrived. Everything was offloaded and placed in there new home in the appropriate room. Assembly of the beds and furniture was completed. The thread mill was also put together and function tested prior to making the 6-1/2 journey home. Hard two days of work but thanks to Steven and our clients we made it happen. Thanks again to Rick, Merdith and Steven.

Collaboration yesterday with Rayleen Place and her team from Organized Place to load up a trailer headed to Vancouver as well as into a storage locker. Long hot day and limited space but we managed to fit everything into the trailer headed west. Special thanks to our grandson Tristan who gave up the remainder of his day to help with the move after putting in an 8 hour shift at his regular job. Also to my wife Marguerite Nelson and the ladies from organized space who ensured the contents being transported were carefully packaged to make their journey safely.

Pulled another all nighter to get a lady moved into The Staywell Manor. Margy did a fantastic job setting up the suite. Hope the client is pleased with the end result.

Performed two moves on the evening of June 17 that went into the wee hours of the next morning. Arrived home at 3:30 am but the suite was completed for the client to move in that day.

Marathon move last night and into the wee hours of the morning. Began at 5:30 last night when I attached the trailer to head out and arrived home shortly after 5:30 this morning.
This was done to ensure a senior who will be discharged from the hospital this weekend will have a move in ready suite upon arrival of her new residence. Margy puts in the extra effort to clean all the items being unpacked as they are removed from the boxes. Upon completion of that the suite is carefully set up to feel comfortable and welcome the person into there beautiful new home.
