Hello everyone!
Fall is upon and if you have an irrigation system you know what that means 🥴

As usual we will be going neighbourhood to neighbourhood winterizing systems. If you are on our blowout list you will receive a call from us when we’re roughly 1 week out from being in your area. Thats when you can shut the valve in the basement to the system and we’ll come empty the lines. (If your system is supplied by an outdoor garden tap we’ll shut it)
Similar to years previous: the high demand and short time frame does not allow for us to make custom bookings as we have to be as efficient as possible to get everyone in before the frost.

In case your facebook feed, the radio dj, the weather man or small talk with your neighbor hasn’t already reminded you… SPRING IS FINALLY HERE!!!!! ☀️🌳🐣🌷
If you’re itching to fire up the irrigation system, our recommendation is to wait a few more weeks to make sure the ground is fully thawed and has a chance to absorb some of that glorious heat.
If you’d like to book in for a Spring Start Up and Inspection, please gives us a call or text at 403-506-0909 and we’d be happy to book you in.
If you’re starting your system on your own, please remember to check thoroughly for leaks in and around the valve box and throughout the lawn. Frost can do some awfully “shifty” things.

It’s that time of year again folks! Summer has come and gone far too quickly. With fall approaching, it’s time to winterize your irrigation system.

Just like years prior, we do blowouts as efficiently as possible, going from one neighbourhood to the next blowing out our client’s irrigation lines before the frost comes. If you are on our list, you will be receiving a call from us within the next few weeks. All you have to do is shut off your irrigation water valve and we’ll take care of the rest!

To our valued customers, please be advised we have experienced a bit of a set back. We will do our best to continue to provide top quality service, but please be patient with us as we resituate our equipment.

Feeling extra grateful to hold each other tonight. Today Darcy & his crew were doing an instal of a new irrigation system. At the end of the day when they were putting the machines back into the trailer the engine backfired which caught the fuel line on fire & spread to the fuel tank. Within seconds the trailer was engulfed in flames & Darcy was on the equipment at the time. THANK GOD the side door was open (which it’s normally latched shut) so he could jump out. If not he would’ve been trapped at the back of the trailer & who knows what would’ve happened. He had the intuition to quickly unhook the truck from the trailer before the diesel tank started on fire too. After using smaller fire extinguishers & buckets of water the fire wouldn’t let up. Thankfully a neighbour whipped down on his quad with a massive fire extinguisher & was able to put it out.

We can’t express how thankful that the only thing that happened to him was some singed eyebrows & an involuntary trim of his hair. Nobody was harmed, just materials.
Seeing what’s left of the trailer & is truly gutting…however it’s just stuff & we can replace it piece by piece. Him I can’t replace ❤️

So if anyone knows where we could buy a new trailer…we’re gunna need it since ours has been barbecued 😆

Cleaning up systems is one of the many services we offer. For this customer we installed new valves… underground! With in-ground valve boxes and single supply lines, it keep the system protected and nicely tucked away 👍🏻

Big thank you to Royal Lepage and Hudson’s Bay Red Deer for hosting their spring client appreciation night. RDIR was handing out delicious sweet & sour meat balls and getting the word out for those interested in an irrigation system. Great opportunity meeting past and future clients tonight.
