Hi! I thought it might be time I introduce myself on here.

My name is Elise and I’m the maker behind the scenes at EC Candles. What started as a hobby and my creative outlet, quickly turned into a tiny business.

When I was in university, I had a candle for every moment, but they tended to come with headaches. Fast forward to having kids and new moments, preferably headache-free. That’s when my quest for living a nontoxic life began- I have three mighty reasons. I started researching how I could make a quality candle with natural products. I chose soy wax because it was biodegradable and renewable, which is important to me. I’ve always enjoyed the benefits and the intention essential oils bring.

I am proud that what you see on the label is exactly what the candle is made of- 100% soy wax and pure essential oils.

First annual “Christmas in July” Market at MSB will be July 17th from 9am to 100pm. MSB will be open on this Sunday as well.

Our first market will display some pretty unique businesses, all relatively new!

MSB is very happy to provide a location for these vendors to showcase their beautiful products and services, vendors will pay small donation that will be donated to the Legion in honour of Canada Day 🇨🇦

How do you find your zen?

I am always a work in progress. My story is long, not linear and unfinished. I am learning how to accept what is and embrace what I don’t know. Part of this is making sure I spend a little time with myself, which is so hard to do as a mama.
