Garden Centre Associate
Full Time Seasonal May 1st to August 31st

Verbeek’s Farm & Garden Centre is looking to hire a Garden Centre Associate for the spring/summer season. If you enjoy plants, gardening, and helping customers while being active and on your feet, this is the role for you.

What You’ll Do
-> Provide knowledgeable and friendly customer service in the Garden Centre
-> Assist customers with plant care, product selection, and gardening solutions
-> Load heavy items such as soil, mulch, and bagged products into customer vehicles
-> Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing displays
-> Receive, stock, and rotate merchandise efficiently
-> Water and care for plants, ensuring all live goods are healthy and sale-ready
-> Follow store safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment

What We’re Looking For
-> Genuine interest in plants, gardening, or outdoor living
-> Experience in retail, customer service, or horticulture is an asset
-> Physically capable of lifting and moving heavy products (up to 50 lbs or more)
-> Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours (including weekends)
-> Team player with good communication and organizational skills
-> Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
