Tritsche Rufenacht

Tritsche Rufenacht The forest, the mountains and the ocean are my happy places. I love to paddle board, hike and paint. I’ve always been an outdoorsy person. And I loved it!

Growing up in Switzerland, my sister and I would spent all our free time running around in the woods with our friends, scrambling up the side of a mountain, hiding in big boulder fields and climbing trees to pick cherries, only to get chased away by an angry farmer! Growing up in the mountains, having all this freedom of running around in nature, definitely had some influence on who I am now. And

maybe that’s why I decided at 19 years of age to work as a Snowboard and Ski instructor. It was a wild time, partying all night, most nights. And that’s where I met my future husband,
who happened to be a Swiss-Canadian working for the same ski school. And somehow I fell in love head over heals and I followed him back to Vancouver, Canada. Where I worked a ton of different jobs, from a snowboard instructor, boat cleaner, retail sales person to working for Canada Post as a letter carrier, I have done it all. In 2009 we finally got married and soon after had two lovely kids. The rest is history! If I’m not at home taking care of the kids, cleaning the house or running errands, you can find me outside
enjoying kayaking, running, skim boarding, orienteering…or getting my hands dirty while gardening bare foot! I love growing vegetables, fruits and herbs! I dream of one day having a herb farm, so I can spend all day outside, tending to my plants,
being connected to the earth. Or maybe I just like that feeling of freedom,
that calming effect weeding, planting, digging in the soil has on me. I’m definitely a serial hobbyist with many interest. But fell in love with soap and lotion making 6 years ago. I have been creating soaps and lotions for my friends and family ever since. I also enjoy teaching soap making classes and will teach other skincare products related classes in the future. This website will evolve and change over time, as I’m starting out on this new venture. For now I will focus on creating and selling natural made soaps, lotions and
my husbands wood creations on farmers markets and
locally here in Tsawwassen and Ladner. For more information and to order products, please contact me at [email protected].

So lucky to see two different rainbows today. And lucky I didn’t get soaked in the torrential downpour.
