Here are a few advantages I discovered about knitting these blankets:

Its therapeutic. The rhythm that goes with pulling up loops is so calming.

Not many tools required. Since I’m doing this all with my fingers, the only things I need are scissors, a lighter for fusing, and yarn

Once you get the blanket to a certain length it’s a nice way to be warm yourself up.

Once you get rolling, it’s fairly easy to do. There are plenty of videos online to guide you.

I have found it to be a great way to occupy my evenings. Can’t eat chips and knit!

Who doesn’t love a fuzzy soft blanket? The smiles and hugs I have gotten when I’ve given people a blanket is worth it!

No one seemed to want this one so I donated it to a former student raising money in a silent auction to travel for a dance competition 🌸🌺.
Gives me watermelon vibes
