We are currently seeking an individual with min 8 - 10 years experience in home renovations and construction for a lead hand / lead carpenter position. The following experience is required but not limited to those without extensive knowledge in all fields. Along with a comprehensive understanding of home construction, and building codes and practices. Wages start at 27-32$ per HR with full time positions and cash options available (subcontract work) with openings starting upon availability.

Experience: (But not limited to)

Drywall installation / mud and tape and repair

Flooring layout and install (tile excluded)

Framing

Trim and mill work install

Tiling installation (not an asset but a plus)

Understanding of home construction and building practices and procedures

Comfortable / Confident with speaking with home owners and inspectors

Confident in reading drawing sets

Detailed orientated ( Must )

Basic electrical knowledge

Can lead a team of guys on his/her own

Proficient with power tools associated with home renovations

Required:

Work boots and safety gear

Reliable vehicle/transportation to and from work sites (Truck Preferred, but not limited to)

Own set of tools (larger tools provided ie: table saw, miter saw, sds drills etc.)

Another challenging project, after previous contractor walked away with full payment, leaving the owners with an unfinished basement, and at a substantial financial lost. Complete re-work and tear out was required from drywall, electrical, plumbing, too framing in order to satisfy building codes, and to bring this basement back to were it deserved to be. Consider who you choose and do your research before starting any projects at your home.

We are a growing company looking for an eligible candidate to start work immediately. We specialize in small to large scale renovation projects involving but not limited to basements, main floors, kitchens and baths. We also provide construction of additions and structural installations.
Current available position:
-General Labourer / Skilled Labourer / Subcontractor
-Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Permanent
- Salary $20.00-$27.00 per hour, Cash options (subcontractor)
Employees seeking employment should have a minimum 3-5 years of knowledge; experience in the following areas is a benefit
- Basic to full framing
- Drywall and tapping repair
- Floor installation and layout
- Trim carpentry
- Reading and understanding drawing sets
- Understanding of procedures in home renovation
Requirements for Hiring:
-Work boots
-Hand tools (drills, hammer, etc)
-Have a reliable vehicle/means of transportation to and from job sites
- Speak English
Part-time hours: 25-40 per week
