Finished planting plenty of annuals for a customer on this Sunny Sunday! Top tips for great annual containers are: fertilizing with both liquid AND slow release (granular) applications, using a specialized potting mix to help retain moisture between waterings and, finally, choosing the correct sun/shade plants for your exposure.

We can’t wait to see how these beauties fill out this season. Shout out to for the beautiful annuals and to for the amazing urns!

What a joy to see this beauty brightening up a construction site! Primrose, or Primula, meaning “little earliest one” enjoys cooler soils and tolerates full sun in spring, but appreciates semi-shade during hot summer weather. Visited my herbal apothecary today to dip into some of summers distant bounty. As I blended the dried thyme, sage and basil the smells took me right back to the garden and the freshness of my own garlic rivals anything bought in store. Who’s ready to grow more?!
