Authentech Homes - Net Zero 'Next Gen" home at Wilden, just completed our second phase of the Living Lab collaboration with Wilden Group, Fortis BC, Okanagan College, and UBCO. The Next Gen home will be open to the public for a limited time, and then once occupied, will be remotely monitored by the research students at UBCO to test its efficiencies in a "living" environment. with advanced wall/floor/ceiling assemblies, a state of the art heating/cooling system, an air tightness under 0.6 AcH, a vast solar array and many more high efficiency items, this Net Zero home will be helpful to anyone considering how these efficiencies perform in a real life scenario.
