When we drove up to the storage unit yesterday, with its door rolled up and tables outside laden with treasures, I didn’t expect to find my first ever Bitossi pieces! (They are the teal textural vase and bowl on the left in the photo, very desirable pieces out of Italy.) And check out all of these other amazing goodies! I don’t yet have another market date scheduled, so if anything catches your eye and you’d like any details or pricing, just let me know! We can arrange a meetup from there. 😊

I know it’s been a couple of days since the Fresh Picked Vintage Market on Saturday at Golden Ears Cheesecrafters, but I am still floating. For its inaugural year, this market was AMAZING! I can’t recall how many times during the day I thought to myself, “These are my people,” as beautiful treasure after beautiful treasure found new homes. Thank you to everyone who visited my booth, to those who purchased from me, and to friends (shoutout to Nicole Lazzarotto-Burt!) and family who helped make the day possible! And, of course, thank you to Roxanne and Tammy from SevenFoldHome and Melo Mercantile for organizing this new Spring Market! It was a fantastic day!

Good morning and welcome back…to us both! 👋 After a necessary break from selling and sourcing, I visited over a dozen homes this past weekend during the Langley Township-wide garage sales. I brought home only half a dozen things on Saturday, but I’m so glad we went out again on Sunday! Not only did I find beautiful and special vintage treasures, but it also reignited in my heart the passion behind why I started this business in the first place. It is my absolute pleasure and honour to find you items that finish that one space, that add something quirky to spark conversations, or that bring back beautiful and loving memories. Thank you for allowing me to do this by supporting me in a multitude of ways. It means the world to me. 💞

I wanted to let all of you know that plans have changed… I will no longer be vending at The Hayloft Vintage Mall as of May 17th. But as much as I will miss having my booth at the store, this change is giving me lots of time to think about what is next for me, my family, and this small business. I’ve very much been pushed along by circumstances these past nine months with my Dad’s passing and other things, so I’m grateful for the time to ponder my coming direction. Thank you all for your support along the way thus far. I’ll be sure to note any updates here, but please kindly excuse my quietness for the next bit. 💛

Tell me…have you ever seen a dreamier living space than this?! I also sell some items on Facebook Marketplace, and yesterday I sold the vintage French-style mirror that you see in this photo to a lovely lady in a nearby city. When I asked her for a photo to see how she styled it, I did not imagine this beautiful scene. Thank you for supporting my small business, Trudy! I am overjoyed at how perfectly this piece is going to work out for you. 🥰
