If you receive a visit from a wild animal, please do not call the OPP to remove the furry critter. The OPP does not have the equipment to trap and house live animals or transport wild animals. Instead, call a private animal removal service. ^dr

More and more reports of bears moving south out of their normal range

According to police, officers were told a bear was spotted around 7 a.m. in the area of Oxford Street West, near the bridge west of Sanatorium Road.

The province has deemed us an essential service and we are operating to respond to emergency wildlife calls or calls in which we can capture or extract wildlife without interaction with our clients or homeowners, as well as our cooperative work with the Ontario ministry of natural resources rabies unit , we understand that wildlife doesn’t take breaks or practice social distancing and our services may be needed to protect your health or property, we will be following all the recommendations from the province and local public health in regards to the covid-19 outbreak to keep both our clients and myself safe .
