From two shallow closets to a hidden sanctuary. ✨

When we started, this was just back-to-back storage with low ceilings. By reclaiming the dead space under the stairs and vaulting the ceiling, we managed to fit:

✅ A hidden powder room
✅ Integrated laundry
✅ A functional desk nook
✅ Full-height closet storage

The best part? You’d never know it’s there until you open the “closet” door. 🚪🤫

Meet Lucas Zwaagstra! 👋🏻 With 15+ years in renovations — including a chapter running NovaHome Upgrades — Lucas has specialized in kitchens and bathrooms, completing nearly 50 remodels. His tiling expertise and eye for detail make him the perfect fit to lead our new Renovations service. 🔨

When he’s not on site, you’ll find him raising 19 hens (plus a rooster named the Colonel 🐓), or off on an outdoor adventure with his fiancée and their dog, Opie.
