Mila has done it again!

With the support of so many amazing customers, family, and friends, this year’s bake sale brought in an incredible $1,539. Her yearly challenge? Beat last year by just $1. This time she didn’t just inch past it she soared past it by $104! 🙌

Since starting her bake sales in 2021, Mila has now raised a jaw-dropping $6,497 every dollar generously donated to the Root Cellar Food and Wellness Hub.

What an example of heart, determination, and community spirit. Mila, you inspire us more than you know. And to her family and everyone who showed up, bought a treat, or shared a post, thank you for helping turn flour and sugar into something truly impactful. 💛

Drumroll please! 🥁🥁🥁

Thanks to the kind support from many of you, Mila raised $1539 from this year’s bake sale.

Each year, her goal is to make $1 more than the she did the previous year. Well, she smashed that goal again and raised $104 more than last year.

Since 2021, Mila has raised $6497 through her bake sales. Every cent of this has been donated to the Root Cellar Food and Wellness Hub.

We are so proud of Mila and her generous heart.

Cookies are all ready to go!

We are available for pick ups tonight (Saturday) until about 8:00pm or most of the day tomorrow.

I will message everyone individually in a moment with address, but we need to have a quick supper first!

We’ve gotten lots of baking done so far today! Still working hard to finish up all the orders.

We will have extras (because mom is not great at math…), so keep your eyes open if you’re still interested in cookies.

In March 2022, Mila finished her second cookie fundraiser. This was the last year that we did the baking in our home kitchen. From 2023-now we have been borrowing the commercial kitchen at the Root Cellar/Food Bank.

Please check out this years fundraiser to support Mila’s kind heart and feed families in our community.

Mila’s Bake Shop started in 2021, when she had the idea to sell her baking and raise funds for our community. After some discussion, she decided to that the local Food Bank was where she wanted to donate the money she raised.

That year we baked over 300 cookies and cupcakes and raised $281.

We are so thankful to her family and friends for their support that year, which has encouraged her to fundraise again and again.

Alright friends, orders are open for this years big bake! Please message me on here to let me know if you’d like to place an order.

Orders will be ready for pick up on February 15th. We will cut off orders the evening of February 12th, so we can get groceries and do the big bake on February 14th.

As usual, mom and dad will donate the ingredients so that every dollar made will go directly to the Root Cellar Food and Wellness Hub

(A big thanks to the Root Cellar for allowing us to use their kitchen so we can safely bake a dozens and dozens of cookies in 1 day!)
