🔥 Repaired a corroded pilot tube on this Raypak pool heater with a standing pilot. The customer was getting a big ball of fire when lighting the pilot — not exactly the kind of heat you want! Corrosion had restricted the gas flow, causing dangerous ignition. All fixed and firing safely now.

Rodents had chewed through the insulation, and to make matters worse, a Jandy pool heater face plate was being used as an ignitor cover—a big no-no in the pool heater world! 😲 Check out the photos to see the unexpected DIY job we uncovered.
