With plenty of exquisite look-out points to take in all the colours of autumn, the Mantario Hiking Trail extends 60 kms between Caddy Lake and Big Whiteshell Lake. In October, a group of marathoners runs the whole length of the trail in about 18 hours total over 2 days, whereas the typical backpacker takes about 30 hours over 3 or 4 days to complete the trail.
