🌸 Lilac Glycerite 🌸

Made from fresh lilac blossoms gathered from the lilac tree in my own yard at the height of bloom…(me, trying to hold on to the beautiful flowers as long as I can.☺️)

Each flower was carefully removed, and infused in a blend of vegetable glycerin and distilled water to preserve as much of spring as I can. 🌺

Lilac teaches us about beauty that doesn’t last forever…the brief season of blossoms (only about 7-10 days 😩), the fragrance it gives and the reminder to stop and enjoy what is right here, right now. 🌹

No rushing.
No forcing.
No growing too fast or too slow.
Just the unseen, messy work behind the scenes of becoming. 🦋

Today, a couple butterflies finally emerged.
